\nWe manufacture 3L \/ S – 6L \/ S, 8L \/ S – 10L \/ S and 15L \/ S class 1 or 2 polyethylene oil separators.

WHAT IS IT USED FOR ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The operation of the hydrocarbon separator is based on the gravity separation of materials not soluble in water. Hydrocarbon-laden water enters the device, hydrocarbons, with a density lower than that of water, rise to the surface. A float system located in the lower part closes the device when the hydrocarbon retention level is reached.
\nA hydrocarbon separator will always be preceded by a sludge trap with storm overflow (bypass) or not, with a volume equivalent or greater than the volume of the separator in order to be able to filter and store the heavier elements that could obstruct the tank. separator (sand, mud, gravel, bolt\u2026 etc).<\/p>\n

THE DIFFERENT CLASSES<\/p>\n

Class 1 separators are separators equipped with coalescing filters which allow a discharge at the treatment outlet less than or equal to 5 mg per liter
\nof hydrocarbons, the treated water can therefore be discharged directly into the natural environment or the rainwater network.
\nClass 2 separators do not have a coalescing filter and provide a discharge greater than or equal to 100 mg \/ L. The pre-treated water will therefore be sent to a treatment plant.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]\n\t\t\n\t\t

MAINTENANCE<\/h3>\n

The HDPE device is insensitive to corrosion and does not require special maintenance.
\nThe user or a cleaning company must intervene regularly, once a month (according to standard NFEN 1825-2), in order to control the quantity of grease stored and proceed, if necessary, to its
\nscraping (by means of a skimmer dedicated to this use for example) or to the total emptying of the tank.
\nThe collected fat will be disposed of as solid waste.
\nThe optional grease and crude alarms will allow the user to be notified as soon as the retention capacity of either of these elements is reached.
\nAfter each complete emptying, wash the appliance and immediately fill it with clean water.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
